To make things easy, we’ve put together some accommodation suggestions close to our guest pickup location near Mantra Twin Towns (Coolangatta).Our wedding will be held at Summergrove Estate in New South Wales.

Wedding Bus:

We have organised a bus for our guests to get them to and from our wedding. The bus will be at the following locations and times so if you intend to utilise it, please use the following information:

12.20 PM QLD / 1.20PM NSW - Kirra – Bus stop opposite Kirra Beach House –Kirra Beach pickup point - bus stop. Click here for google maps.

2PM NSW – arrival at Summergrove

All of the options below are a short walk to the pickup point and close to beaches, cafés, and restaurants. There are some in this list we have also gathered discount for!

You may also wish to look at Airbnb options in Coolangatta, Kirra, Bilinga, or Tweed Heads. We recommend booking early, as November is a popular time of year with Schoolies also being at the same time. 

🕐 Important: Time Zone Information (Please Read!)

Coolangatta sits directly on the Queensland (QLD) / New South Wales (NSW) border, and this becomes important in November.

• Queensland does NOT observe daylight saving time.

• New South Wales DOES observe daylight saving time in November.

This means there is a 1 hour time difference between QLD and NSW during our wedding period.

🚨 All Wedding Events & Bus Pickups Will Run on NEW SOUTH WALES TIME (AEDT).

Because our wedding is being held at Summergrove Estate in NSW, all timings will follow NSW daylight saving time (AEDT). If you are staying in Coolangatta (QLD), your phone may automatically show Queensland time, which will be 1 hour behind NSW. For example:

If the bus pickup is at 3:00pm NSW time, it will show as 2:00pm in Queensland at that same moment. Please double-check which side of the border you are staying on and plan accordingly — we would hate for anyone to miss the bus!

✈️ Getting There

• Gold Coast Airport is only a few minutes from Coolangatta and is the easiest airport for most guests.

• Brisbane Airport is approximately 1–1.5 hours north by car.
